Microsoft Office Mobile Voice Capture
Microsoft Office for Android is testing a new voice capture feature. This feature will support live speech-to-transcription, highlighting text during playback making it easier to follow along, and the ability to share captured content with other Microsoft 365 apps.
Finished recordings are saved as voice cards. Users will be able to view all of their voice cards in a list view and review any specific recordings. Voice recordings also appear on the Home tab of the Office Mobile app.
This feature is currently in testing with Office insiders and is due to begin rolling out soon.
Visio for Microsoft 365
Microsoft Visio is the premier diagramming solution that enables anyone to create and visualize their business processes and data.
Visio has long been available only as a standalone app for purchase for people with specialized diagramming needs. But this is changing. Starting in July, Visio will be available to all commercial license subscribers.
This lightweight version of the web app will offer core Visio functionalities and allow business users to create, edit, and share professional diagrams. While users with more specialized diagramming needs will want to investigate the standalone plans—Visio Plan 1 and Visio Plan 2—the web app in Microsoft 365 subscription is intended to be a powerful tool for essential needs. It will soon be available in the Microsoft 365 suite, but if you can’t wait to get started, then you are welcome to sign up for Visio in Microsoft 365 early access.2.
