Two years ago, Nintex acquired Drawloop to enhance their document generation capabilities. Ever since the acquisition, Nintex has worked to further enhance the product to make document generation available to SharePoint, Office 365 and Nintex Cloud. Now Nintex has announced at Dreamforce 2017 that Drawloop will now be known as Nintex Document Generation. The name as been updated in the Nintex AppExchange.
The other announcements made at Dreamforce 2017 is the availability of Nintex Workflow and Forms for Salesforce. Both are available as a managed package in the AppExchange. Nintex Workflow for Salesforce is powered by Nintex Workflow Cloud. You can build and manage workflows and forms in a native application without ever having to leave Salesforce. This is fully supported in Salesforce Lightning as well as Salesforce Classic.
Using Forms for Nintex Workflow for Salesforce allows end user do design a process to automatically fill in predictable or redundant fields with all the data available on one form or screen. With Nintex Workflow for Salesforce anyone can design sophisticated workflows and forms with clicks and not code, lessening the reliance on IT. You can embed smart forms into Salesforce Lightning and Salesforce 1 that in turn enter data in Salesforce the moment the user clicks “Submit” Nintex Workflow for Salesforce can be built directly into a production environment by a system admin or business analyst without relying in IT.
