According to a recent product roadmap update, Microsoft is planning to soon, roll out the ability to configure the availability of meeting transcription on Teams Mobile for users in their tenant, who can start transcription during the meeting and view meeting transcripts after the meeting on Microsoft Teams for Android and iOS. The existing “Allow transcription” policy for Teams Desktop will now also apply to Teams Mobile so you can configure the availability of meeting transcription for your tenant. If transcription is enabled, users will see “Start transcription” right after “Start recording” in meeting more options menu.
