Microsoft has introduced a new Jira app for Microsoft Teams. The app allows you to create and comment on existing issues without having to open a new browser tab or application for Jira. It also supports customizable Jira notifications through Teams, searching through Jira from a Teams chat, and improved link cards that are actionable.

Navigating to and between Microsoft Teams channel file areas can sometimes be a little clunky, add in private channels and this situation can make the experience even worse. Now, Microsoft is introducing a new view to solve this.
 

This new release will update the channel rename experience in Teams to simultaneously rename the corresponding folder in SharePoint sites whenever a channel in Teams is renamed.

As previously announced in May of 2021, the future of Internet Explorer on Windows 10 is in Microsoft Edge. Internet Explorer mode (IE mode) provides legacy browser support within Microsoft Edge. Because of this, the IE11 desktop application will be retired on June 15, 2022. This means that the IE11 desktop application will no longer be supported and afterwards will redirect to Microsoft Edge if a user tries to access it.
